Was Diagnosed with Acute Meyloid Leukemia in begining of August 2006 and was transfered to University Hospital in Cardiff where he came down with a number of infections and was in the intensive care unit for the last 2 weeks of his life, we all sat at his bedside to say goodbye and he closed his eyes for the final time at 11pm on 28th august 2006.
Our Tribute to him:
We were a very close family, and if we did not see him, he would be on the phone, we miss hearing his voice,
He was a fun loving father and granch who was a character. He was outgoing and loved going out to the pub every weekend. He was the life and soul of any party and once met never forgotton!
He was taken away from us too soon before his time, we miss him every day and life is not the same without him.
"If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever"
Beside your grave we often stand,
with heart both crushed and sore,
silent till the sweet words come,
not lost, but gone before,
god knows how much we miss you,
he counts the tears we shed,
and whispers he only sleeps,
your loved one is not dead.
So we'll be brave dear Dad & Granch,
and pray to god each day,
and when he calls us home to you,
your smile will guide the way.

Months have passed, we feel the pain,
your absence is heartfelt mush,
your daughters and son, and grandchildren too,
the entire family are missing you.

when your smile, your laughter,

Our loss bears pain,
but the memories dear,
for we know that our dad is very near.
We know we'll see you again some day,
we dearly love you more than words can say.
